Student Success Since 2007

Since 2007, YCSW has been helping students across Fairfield County, Connecticut and beyond on all aspects of the college process. YCSW streamlines the college admissions process for you by identifying and cultivating a student’s interests; maximizing their standardized test scores; and helping them write compelling and effective college essays.
 
YCSW’s students become successful college applicants and are offered admission to some of the most competitive schools in the country.
 
We recognize that some students don’t have access to the same resources that our clients do. Therefore, YCSW is currently partnering with the Bridgeport School System in Connecticut as well as “Path to College” in Palm Beach County, FL to provide educational opportunities to those who deserve them.

Yearsley Christopher Stephen Winkler
meet our FOUNDER

bio of the founder, Yearsley Winkler

Yearsley Winkler was raised in Westport, Connecticut graduated from Staples High School (’03) and then went on to Yale University, earning his BA in English Literature (’07). After college, he worked for a short period of time with a local college preparation company before starting his own education business, YCSW. 

Yearsley has over 18 years of experience working with students on all aspects of the college preparation process. He strongly believes that the process, properly understood, is straightforward, neither rocket-science nor something that should be used to intimidate students and their parents. Success never comes at the expense of a healthy experience.
